Yes, different music at different times! When writing I either need quiet some very loud, familiar music. Nothing challenging. Lately I’ve been writing with ZOSO on.

For laying out the balloons and putting down the roughs I need quiet. I’m so easily distracted with this part. I usually keep my headphones on because they keep me from getting up and being an idiot somewhere else.

For pencils I love The Best Show. It’s my favorite talk radio show and gives me wonderful peace. If I can finish my pencils in one 3-hour episode, I consider that really good.

For inking I can listen to whatever. Usually I’ll put on some new album I’ve been meaning to hear. The inking requires very little brain power so I can concentrate real hard on Solange’s new EP (it’s great!!!!)
