A Few More

Ok, I’ll do these as text posts now so people can reblog them if they wanna. That doesn’t guarantee they’ll be cool or interesting enough to do so!!

hipstermontoya asked you:
Have you ever thought about some company buying the rights of Octopus Pie and making a movie based on it? Would you be cool with it? Would you support it or go against it?

The terms would be a lot more complicated than “rights are bought, movie is made” but I would not be opposed to a movie or TV show, as long as we’re entertaining such fantasies.

ashameron
 asked you:

Where is Victor? What is he doing? Have there been any sightings?

He’s gone and nobody knows where he went. Trust me, it’s better this way.

lukewhealy
asked you:
How were you approached to create Marceline and The Scream Queens?

I was asked by my (now!) editor if I’d like to write a comic about Marceline touring with a band, and possibly draw it too. I agreed to do both because, heck yeah.

getsweaty asked you:Will you show us some of your ‘Dopey Fanfiction’?

nope, sorry. I don’t have a single word of it anymore. Back in the late 90s not everything on the internet was saved forever. It’s probably on a bunch of floppy disks in my mom’s basement somewhere. But even if I did have them, geez, no way!

mikejwitz asked you:As for a question, how do you feel your background in animation has helped prepare you for comics? Is there anything you miss about animating, or maybe something you’re glad to leave behind?

Yes, I get the bug to animate pretty often. I love key poses, I love all the repetitive inbetween drawings, I even love doing lipsync. It’s very relaxing. At least once a year I get some sort of freelance animation work, or do something on my own, so I don’t miss it too bad. After Marceline is finished I’ll probably animate something new.
